The University of Southampton is proud to launch UK Disability History Month 2025 in Southampton with a community event called Disability Now!
This event celebrates what's happening right now - the brilliant work, creativity, and voices of disabled persons or those working with disabled persons across our city.
Through a series of presentations and other activities, the conference will highlight how people across all ages are actively shaping education, services, and wider society today.

- Level 2 (ground floor), Room 2063/65
Check-in: from 09:40, in the main entrance (foyer) of Sir James Matthews Building.
Accessibility: Venue has full wheelchair access. Priority seating for deaf, hard of hearing and visually impaired in the first front row. If you require additional support, please ask a member of the Festival team on site.
