UoS Music welcomes you to an exciting PLATFORM concert, showcasing what our performance students have been working on in the department.

The concert will feature a diverse line-up of student acts exploring a variety of genres.

The concert will be headlined by third-year ensemble Marsupial, a Southampton based jazz quartet performing their own arrangements of contemporary and Hard bop jazz tunes. An upcoming band, they have played venues such as The Stage Door, The Concorde Club and the People's Lounge at the Victorious festival 2026. Marsupial features Mia Hart on guitar, Nat Flowers on bass, James Tye on keys and Peter Richards on kit, and they bring an exciting atmosphere to every venue with their captivating musicality and invigorating improvisation.
