Do you love Southampton's history but are too busy to read a lot of history books? Then we have the solution for you!

Dr John Mcaleer, Associate Professor at the History Department at the University of Southampton, introduces you to six key facts about Southampton's history through Instagram reels. These videos are all under a minute long, making them easy to fit into even the busiest day!

Dr Mcaleer will talk about:

2) The original owner of Tudor House.
3) Immigrants in the middle ages: the Dancing Man pub.
4) Transatlantic connections: the D-Day wall.
5) Southampton's Jane Austen connection: the Dolphin Hotel on the High Street.
