Through a series of short, fun writing exercises you'll gain confidence in your writing. You might just surprise yourself. There will be no pressure to share your work if you don't want to. Writing materials will be supplied. This event is suitable for writers whatever their level of experience and whatever they are interested in writing, be that fiction, memoir, poetry or something else.
Rebecca Smith is a principal teaching fellow in English and Creative Writing at the University of Southampton. She is the author of nine books including The Ash Museum (Legend Press, 2021) which draws upon 100 years of family letters, photographs and memories.
